This elastic is available in a width of 40mm, in ecru (untreated natural color) and black. It has also been sanforised.
The marking thread serves as a guide. If the elastic is to be sewn to the fabric on one long side, it is important that the side with the marking thread is used. Due to the production process, this side may ripple during use. Although there are no quality restrictions here, the wavy appearance can be annoying.
It is suitable for light to medium weight fabrics such as batiste, poplin, jersey and sweat. The stretch length is 100 % (+/- 10 %).
The elastic can be pulled into the garment (tunnel) or worn directly on the skin. It feels very comfortable against the skin.
