CHARLE - premium haberdashery develop and produce elastic and inelastic ribbons from renewable raw materials.
We use organic cotton for the non-elastic ribbons and for the elastic ribbons we use organic cotton and natural rubber.
The natural rubber we use is from Malaysia. It is REACH compliant.
We source our GOTS certified organic cotton from Turkey.
The price range goes from EUR 0.19 to EUR 19.25 per meter.
You can get each ribbon from us from 1 m MOQ in our online shop at premium-haberdashery.de.
You can buy all ribbons in our online shop premium-haberdashery.de or from our distribution partners.
Small quantities up to 100 m are usually available immediately. You can find the delivery details, also for large quantities, for each item in our online shop at premium-haberdashery.de.

The ribbons are currently shipped from Berlin.
The shipping costs depend on the volume, weight and delivery location of your order. As soon as you add something to the shopping basket, you can see the shipping methods and costs for the current shopping basket contents in the shipping costs calculation.
You can also select your own shipping label in the order process under shipping and payment method.
We inform you about the shipping weight and the dimensions of the package, and you send us your shipping label as a PDF file to shop@premium-haberdashery.de

No. The prices and MOQ are so low that, in our view, a student can afford them. For research projects, please contact us at info@premium-haberdashery.de.
Yes. The minimum purchase per colour and ribbon 20,000 running metres.
Currently we cannot offer ribbons with lettering or motifs. We are working on adding elastic jacquard-patterned ribbons to our range.
No, we do not currently offer this service.
Yes. Tests in a worm farm have shown that the ribbons are biodegradable within 6-8 weeks in an optimal natural environment.
Our ribbons are not yet certified, only the individual components. The organic cotton is GOTS and the natural rubber is REACH and Ökotex 100 PK I certified. They also comply with the EU toy standard EN 71-3 and EN 71-12.
Optimal storage is in a dry place at 20 degrees Celsius and protected from light.
We have not tested them in very cold conditions (below minus 15 degrees) yet. They can withstand sunlight very well but it should not be continuous without interruption.
We recommend a maximum of 40 degrees, for the sake of the environment. As a rule, laundry does not need to be washed hotter than that. However, the ribbons can also withstand washing temperatures of 95 degrees Celsius. Even a steam sterilizer will not harm them.
Yes, due to the cotton component, the ribbons shrink between % 5 and % 10.
Of course. Our customers have had very good experiences with vegetable dyes, but also biochemical dyes.
Yes, there are differences. The elasticity is stated for each ribbon in our product description. We always recommend that you carry out tests on your own products.
